If you own a MK3 Supra, you already know that there is no place to mount your mobile phone securely. There was really no reason for this during the 80's and 90's era. Fast forward to todays time, everyone has a phone especially for in car navigation, music, and entertainment.
So where do you mount it? Autoextrude has finally made a solution for the community. Utilizing that one spot no one ever uses nowadays... THE ASHTRAY!
Reusing one of our very old gauge pod design, we now added and integrated a phone mount to go in tandem with a gauge. Best of both world! Monitor your car readings and have a complete bird's eye view of your phone and its contents.
Material:
The madin mount is made like many of our products out of ASA + Carbon fiber filled plastic. ASA is a plastic that is superior to ABS. It can withstand water, heat, UV-light and cold. It's made for years of continuous use without failure.
The ball mount itself is made from Nylon 12 Powder printed in house using our Selective Laser Sintering Machine (SLS)
Gauge Pod Specs:
This mount will accept any single 52mm gauge and even the larger bezel AEM X-Series using our custom adapter (sold separately)
It can also hold a BTI 3.5 Multi-Integration Touch Screen display with 52mm Cup Mounts (shifted and offset to the sides)

We offer different kinds of mounts for different kinds of phones. Whether you have the latest iPhone with magsafe technology chargers, or a dinosaur age phone.. we got you covered!
1. Magsafe Mount with QI2 Enabled Wireless charging
Compatible with iPhone13 and above. You must use a compatible magsafe casing for this to fully work. Or install a magsafe "ring"
The mount will have a hands free charging feature. (USB-C to USB-C cable included)
2. Universal Magnetic Mount
Works best for older phones which don't have the new Magsafe technology. You must use the supplied metal plate for magnetic feature to work. Plate can be installed with a case.
3. Universal Clip
For those who don't want to use a magnetic plate, we have a standard adjustable spring loaded clip solution. It will fit and accommodate most phones.
4. Vent Mount Only
You can also purchase the vent mount piece without any of our mounting accessories. Feel free to use you own mount. (17mm ball compatible)

Note: Just like our ashtray gauge pods, slight trimming is needed on the Radio Surround. There is a small 2-3mm lip on the inside ashtray hole. This will have to be filed, trimmed, or cut out for a proper installation.
If the lip is kept, the top of the ashtray hole will bulge into the climate control area. This is a very minor cut and any "Dremel" like tool can remove it in a matter of 1-2 minutes.
Not doing this mod will leave you with a "bulge" on the factory center console surround.
